SBWIL Ambassadors help aspiring Black women in law discover resources, opportunities, and one another—wherever they attend school.
Express interest ↓The role
A connector—not a campus chapter president.
Ambassadors extend access without having to build an entire organization from scratch. They share verified information, invite students into SBWIL’s broader community, and help SBWIL understand the needs of students beyond one institution.
Listen
Learn what aspiring Black women in law at your school need and bring those ideas back to SBWIL.
Activate
Help organize one accessible campus touchpoint each semester—such as a resource table, virtual information session, or group attendance at an event.
Represent
Communicate SBWIL’s mission accurately and create a welcoming bridge between your campus and the wider community.
What we ask
Consistent, thoughtful participation.
- Be currently enrolled at a college or university.
- Support SBWIL’s mission and communicate respectfully.
- Share timely opportunities and event information.
- Join periodic virtual ambassador check-ins.
- Never present SBWIL as an official university organization or provide legal advice.
